At CF Interiors, home means more than anything, and we believe everyone deserves a home they love. However, for far too many, a safe and loving home is hard to come by. We are so grateful for the overwhelming support we've received, so this holiday season, CF Interiors is giving back to our communities that need our support the most.
In lieu of Christmas gifts, we are donating to the following organizations in our community:
North Shore Neighbourhood House
The North Shore Neighbourhood House was founded by Lonsdale residents aiming to create an accessible gathering place for local youth. They strive to build a safe, healthy and strong community, welcoming all ages, abilities and cultures – one where everyone has access to support, everyone is included, and where everyone matters. The North Shore Neighbourhood House has been meeting the child care needs of the community since 1939, and is currently the largest provider of childcare on the North Shore. The House values and promotes cooperation, respect and empowerment through the provision of programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals and the community as a whole.
United for BC Flood Response
The United for BC Flood Response Fund supports critical relief and urgent recovery efforts in the aftermath of devastating floods that have impacted communities across the province. A variety of programs and essential supports will be critical as BC residents respond and recover physically and emotionally from the devastation of floods throughout our province. Funds donated to the United for BC Flood Response Fund will play an important role in helping affected communities in the aftermath of these floods, and will go towards addressing important needs like housing, food assistance, trauma and mental health support.
Battered Women Support Services
Battered Women’s Support Services provides education, advocacy, and support services to assist all women in its aim to work towards the elimination of violence and to work from a feminist perspective that promotes equality for all women. A feminist voice against violence and oppression, BWSS is a strong, dynamic organization that provides support and advocacy for women who have experienced abuse, as well as community education and training about violence against women. Part of a global feminist anti-violence movement, our long-term goal is the elimination of all violence against women and girls. Their crisis line remains open, providing emotional support to women experiencing gender-based domestic violence and/or uncertainty during these difficult times.
